Maverik Store Branding Creation

Creative direction of an entirely new retail experience for new store builds. The old "country store" theme was replaced by an energetic "Adventure's First Stop" brand and image. The focus was on outdoor sports and environments represented with lush illustration and 3D elements.
We opted for tall 17 foot ceilings to accommodate large floor to ceiling graphics that created a rich and immersive experience for the customer. Along with the wall murals, we created three dimensional elements like trees and people to enhance the experience.
The prepared food area of the store needed it's own brand that fit comfortably with the overall out door adventure brand. So we created BonFire.
The coffee area is always a strong destination spot. I directed a new coffee brand (Bodacious Bean) that told a fun story and really highlighted the brand narrative.
Every opportunity was taken to immerse the customer in the brand. These were illustration graphics that covered the sides of the ice cream coolers.
Even the restrooms had some tongue-in-cheek story elements that drove home the brand.
Beer cooler graphics. We had a lot of fun creating story elements and "Easter Egg" graphics for the customer to discover. We did this throughout the store.
Various wildlife illustrations were sprinkled throughout the store to give the murals some discovery and life.
